- Front Offset: To maintain proper fiber optic bend radius and cable management, the front mounting rails are usually offset 3 inches (7.6 cm) from the front door, or 5 inches (12.7 cm) if front cable management brackets are installed .
- Side Clearance: A minimum of 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) is recommended between the chassis edge and the cabinet side wall to ensure airflow and ease of installation .
