Cannot plug or unplug fiber optic cable from switch lc
Check the transceiver status using 'show ports <port> transceiver information detail'—look for signal loss or power anomalies. Also verify correct SFP module compatibility, clean fiber ends, and ensure auto-negotiation or duplex settings match on both ends. There are no specific requirements for this document. This includes Doppler. Recently some of switches I have has been shown faulty issue on Fiber port. I have seen this kind of issue on both '3750X series and 2960X series', and issue is following: - Swithes are 48- Ethernet ports PoE + 4 Fiber ports - 3750X switch = 3/4 ports are currently plugged with Cisco GBIC module. Fiber port shutdown without any error and it works only when unplug and plug fiber connnector. What can i check? 07-12-2025 04:11 AM Hi I setup n°2 x440, they connected by fiber optic.
